Arran September Trip – Get Booked!
Hi,
The club has booked a bunkhouse on Arran for a weekend away in September. The riding on Arran is fantastic but it’s hard to get good quality accommodation so don’t miss the chance. There are 14 places for club members, check the calender entry for details:

SMBO 12th April 2014
As mentioned at the AGM, we’re pleased to announce that GMBC will be hosting the 1st round of the Scottish Mountain Bike Orienteering Spring League on Saturday 12th April. We are hosting this event for a second year, and it’s shaping up to be a great event with the new club facilities at Milngavie and Bearsden Sports Club playing host.
If you are unfamiliar with MTB orienteering (formerly known as Trailquest) the objective is to visit as many of the 30 checkpoints as possible within the 3 hour time limit. Continue reading
Wed 19th Feb night ride?
Anyone thinking of heading along for the ride tonight? Weather forecast looks not too bad – supposed to be dry until 10ish.

sunday 16th-glen Ample loop
Just to confuse folks further, John and I doing Glen Ample loop tomorrow, starting at s leisurely 11am from car park for Ben Led, near Callander. After today do expect some snow to Lochearnhead, but route 7 back should be ok. Ride not technical, about 25mules. Bring lunch. Post if interested so we get there on time!

Tuesday Ride?
Hi. The forecast is for snow & sleet on Tuesday night. If you fancy getting out in that sort of weather then I’ll be in the car park for 7pm.
