Alison & I are planning to ride Drumlanrig on Saturday 15th Nov (unless the weather is dire). Meeting at 10am – Prompt – ready to ride, from the main car park. We need to be back on the road at 3pm as heading on down to the Lakes. Nothing too fast/techy as been loaded with the flu (at least that is my excuse). Not planning a café stop either. Might be worth giving them a call to see what state the trails are in before making a trip. Earlier this year the estate had to do a lot of felling due to some nastiness attacking the trees, and the black was largely closed. Latest word on the website is that the blue is closed, and the red has a diversion.
Thanks for the tip Ryszard! Had a look at the website and it looks like over half of the red is also closed. So I think we will postpone for now…
