In collaboration with Alpine Bikes, we have the opportunity to test out some of the lighting units produced by Exposure.
We will have a selection of lights available for the club ride on Tuesday 17/4/12 (7 p.m.) when hopefully it’ll just about be dark enough to get a good feel for what the lights offer.
Please leave a comment if you’d like to test one or more of the lights, obviously priority goes to paid up club members.
UPDATE: I’ve now collected the lights and we have just about one of everything from the 2012 range. Sadly, there is only one helmet light clip – if you have one please bring it along on Tuesday if possible. Also have the piggyback cell and some of the rear lights that plug into a smart port.
I’m charging the lights up, but don’t know what condition they are in. It would be wise to bring a spare light with you.
wouldnt mind a go of a joystick if theyve got one?
There should be both Joystick and Diablo helmet lights, and a selection of the bar mounted lights. I’ll update with a list of what’s available when I get one.
I would quite like to try the newer Joystick and Diablo and rate it against the original JS.
Ross – I replaced an 09 Joystick with an 11 one and it is much brighter and better beam pattern – the 12 one is more powerful again
