GMBC Clinic Night in Dales

We will be holding a Service Clinic on 14th of January specifically for GMBC members where you can work on your own bike with help from some of the Dales mechanics. Kicking off when the shop closes at 6pm we will have work stands set up and all the tools you will need to cover:

  • surviving out on the trail
  • servicing your bike after the ride
  • getting the most from your brakes

Since what you all really want to know is how to work on our own bike, Dougie and I will be around right up until 8pm to answer any of your questions, offer advice and demonstrate anything you are unsure of before you try it yourself. We’ll make sure that you are comfortable with trailside essential repairs and how to keep things running smoothly between services.  Of course we are happy to delve deeper but won’t go rambling on about Hope brakes when you’re running Avid or stripping pivot kits or forks.

If you have some questions that you would like us to answer,  why not pop them on an e-mail dougie@dalescycles.com or wojtek@dalescycles.com and send them in and we will run through the reply with you on the night.

With such harsh conditions at the moment,  now is the time to take advantage of this great FREE opportunity. Spaces are limited,  so drop me an e-mail, wojtek@dalescycles.com by January 13th and I will book you a space.

Thank you for all your business over the last year. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Team Dales.

Cheers
Wojciech

  2. Hi, who else is going? I’m bringing a bike which has problems with brakes, gears and bottom bracket – might even check the headset too 🙂

    • I’ll be there…and looks like Graham you are taking with you my bike ;)…same problems here…air in brakes and (rusty??) headset 😉

      • Hi, just to set some expectations, Dales have a lot to get through tonight so you and I may not get through everything that we’re expecting, I’m sure the topics could be added to a future session.

  3. Newby here to the club and I will be dropping in to learn
