A couple of friends are looking for second hand mtb bikes for around £200. As they spend most of their time running they are reluctant to spend much more than £200 in case they don’t enjoy biking or pick up too many injuries. If anyone has a bike kicking around and looking to sell then please get in touch. The sizes would be ~16/17″, preferably hardtail. There might an Al Trek Road Bike that might be used as (part) exchange. Not sure of exact details. Please give me a shout if interested.

I have a Small 2009 Specialized Myka Sport (womens bike) size 15.5″ available. It belongs to Claire, and she’s keen to sell it. It would suit someone around 5′ to 5’4″. We paid £300 for it at Dales, would accept £150, it’s hardly been ridden, a few scratches and recently serviced at Alpines, with new brake blocks fitted. It’s been used on canal paths only.

I might have a 16″ handsome dog xc01 framed bike which i gave to my Dad a few years back 05/06 !!!! it has basic stuff on ie crap old rockshox suss fork needs new seat post,cassette/chain cables?? has v brakes cheap cheerful wheels in other words needs some tlc frame is disc mounts and would take a fork of say 100-130mm max??.
if interested make offer when seen I could throw in a manitou disc only fork 130mm travel (splice! axel! not sure).

A wee message to you. Are you still looking for a cheap hardtail frame the same as previous post reply all be it updated newer xco1 or xc03 allterrain are doing the xc01 for £55 or £110 for the even better xc03 at time they came out the xc01 got a great right up and certainly didn’t cost as little as £55 I think i bought it for £200ish???they do a 20″ and 22″
