Is anyone who’s not doing the 5 ferries this weekend up for an mtb alternative? Saturday or Sunday? Not too fussy where although I have been thinking I’ve not been to GT for over a year and might be quieter with the schools hols over….

I’d love to go to Glentress in the not too distant future, never been.
Not 100% sure I can do this weekend (need to check), but Sunday would be better.
Sam, if the 5 Ferries is gonna be a washout, & not going ahead, I’ll be up for a blast round GT or Innerleithen on the Saturday if u & others fancy it.
The weather doesn’t look promising for Sat, but it’s still to early to tell. I’ll let u know for sure on Friday afternoon.
Hi Sam – I’m up for a trip to GT – been ages since I’ve been there. Either Saturday or Sunday seems fine at the moment, maybe whichever day has the better weather?
BBC website suggesting better weather for Sunday. Could be up for this, especially if Spooky Wood is on the menu

Me and Graeme had a chat at the committee meeting last night, and decided we need to firm up the plans to make other arrangements. I;’ve alos got a pal from Edinbirgh joining us, so needed to tell them when etcv.
So, we agreed SATURDAY, meeting at the Hub cafe about 10.30.

Can anyone give me a lift on Saturday? My wife and baby could do with the car.
I live near Anniesland Cross, but I have a bike (really?) so can easily get to anywhere West End / Milngavie area. Maybe a bit further afield if necessary.

Change in plan – we’re now heading down on Sunday. Plan is to be there by 11:15am and riding by 11:30am. Myself, Grant and Sam are going there in 1 car. If you’re wanting to join us down there then post up and we’ll arrange to meet you there.
