Hi folks – here’s some feedback from East Dunbartonshire council about our work this weekend!!
“Morning All,
Just wanted to pass on my thanks to you all for your efforts contributing to the Right of Way repair up at Milngavie Golf Course. I am sure the improvements carried out will make this a much more attractive route for locals and visitors alike. I think this proves that with a bit of patience and effort landowners, user groups, and the local authority can come together to make improvements that benefit everyone. Hopefully the experience gained and lessons learned here can be reapplied to similar projects in the future.

Many thanks Wallace and the MGC Team for their efforts helping to improve the path drainage and allowing us to store materials and equipment. Thanks
also to MGC Club Captain Derek Hunter for allowing us to carry out these improvements on MGC land being generally very supportive of the project’s aims and objectives.
GMBC
Many thanks to Graham and Pete for organising the volunteers and carrying out the path repairs. The photographs look great and I am looking forward
to getting up to MGC to have a look at the improvements myself. Kudos!
EDC / Mugdock Rangers
Many thanks Mugdock Rangers, David and Gordon for organising the tools and equipment to enable the volunteers to carry-out the path repair. Everything
came together at the last minute so I am very grateful for everyone’s efforts.
Best regards,
Alistair Kyle
