Hi. Just a quick reminder that the Selkirk ride is this Saturday (09:30 start). IMHO, truly one of the best rides in the Borders! It would be a great ride if you’re planning on entering the excellent Selkirk MTB Marathon event. We can tailor the route to those present & the weather on the day as there are various options to shorten or extend the ride. The riding will require a degree of skill and stamina [not sure why I’m going on it then 🙂 ]. I’d say if you’re comfortable riding red graded trails at a decent speed you should be OK but the route is longer than the red at GT. The route has a mix of trail centre, open moorland track, fireroad and techy forest singletrack. Take food as there’s no cafe en route unless we opt for a descent and a climb. If you have any questions about the route then let me know. Cheers, Graham

Hi. If anyone else is coming along for this ride then please either post up here or drop me an email/text and we’ll keep an eye out for you at the Innerleithen trail centre car park. NB: it’s an earlier start time than usual, 09:30.
There’s also x1 space in the camping pod for tonight if you’re interested in a night ride at Glentress.
