With the weather forecast looking great for Saturday, me and John are heading up to Arrochar to try a new route- well, new to us! Its called Coire Grogain from Kenny Wilson’s book.
Description is 18km from Arrochar off into the hills. Looks good, with some forest track and single track descents. Book suggests more decents than climbs, but that can’t be right!!
We have a map and the ability to navigate should anyone else want t come along.
Meet at 11am at the main car park in Arrochar- first one you come to as you head through the village. Don’t know how long it’ll take-maybe 3 hours? Graham and Neil did it last year, and can perhaps shed some light.

It’s a nice little run, Dawn and I did it a couple of years ago. Nothing too taxing, 3hrs should be pretty leisurely, I’m tempted to drag the cross bike up and join in. Only thing to look out for is the stream crossing – Dawn tried the route after heavy rain and it was impassable. Would expect it to be OK now though.
So, are we counting you in then Ryszard?
Depends whether I can haul myself out of bed and avoid the joint temptations of mowing the lawn and painting…

I was looking at the map and wondering if ity could be extended by going up to Loch Sloy….. can decide on the day.
Anyone else? This is meant to be a hot weekend- gotta make the most of it when we get it!

The reason it’s an 11am start is because Sam can’t haul her ass out of bed, so you have no excuse for not being there on time. You can cut the grass on Sunday and I’m sure the painting can wait till another day…….like a rainy day!
