Saturday May 31st has been proposed for the summer social pub ride. Usual schedule of 10am depart from the clubhouse heading out the WHW to Carbeth, then Blanefield, lennoxtown, Kirkintilloch, Torrance and back to Milngavie around 7pm. The emphasis as always is on the social side and is a great way to meet members of the club and enjoy food and drink (alcoholic or otherwise) throughout the day. The ride is approx 26 miles off road in a loop making it easy to join or leave at whatever time suits. It’s been very popular in past years with numbers around 15-20 over the day and with the sunshine that we’ll have this year (always the optimist) I’m sure we’ll get a tan along the way. I’ll post up nearer the time but pencil the date in on your diary.

Not been out for ages, but, funny enough, I am up for this one.
Hoping to join in too! I have parkrun in morning but hopefully meet you all aft about 12-1pm if you can give us an idea where your likely to be I’ll cycle up 🙂

You can always come out for some xc mtb on sunday instead?! Can probably squeeze a pint in after if you feel hard done by.

Unfortunately I’m back to HMS driftwood on Friday.So no bike, no beer no fun.
I can’t be there. This Saturday I’m going to Lake District for big and challenging 50 miles scenery solo loop from 6am to 8pm 😀
I’ll be out at some point after completing Saturday morning parental duties. Probably catch up somewhere around Lennoxtown.
