Watch Europe’s best cyclists weave their way through the streets of Glasgow as part of the Road Race at Glasgow 2018, which will start and finish at Glasgow Green.

This is your chance to see elite sporting competition right on your doorstep.
Experience BMX racing at the new permanent Olympic standard BMX track in Knightswood Park. BMX races are exciting, fast-paced, relentless and all-action. The races begin with 3 rounds of qualifying heats, called motos which can have up to eight riders competing against each other. The top points scorers across all motos then move on through to further knockout rounds until the final, which decides the overall winner. Individual races normally last under a minute and are run off in quick succession, meaning that it’s an exciting non-stop day for riders and spectators alike.

- Men – 1/8th Finals / 1/4 Finals
- Women – 1/4 Final
- Women – Semi Final & Final
- Men – Semi Final & Final
- Men and Women Podium

Cycle parking is available at Knightswood Park. There will be no spectator car parking available at Knightswood Park.
The Time Trial will take place through the city, starting at the landmark Riverside Museum building and out into the stunning Scottish countryside before arriving back at Glasgow Green.

See the best Mountain Bikers in Europe compete at the iconic Cathkin Braes Mountain Bike Trails. Mountain biking is best watched up close and personal, where you can really appreciate the athleticism and skill of those taking part. The environments that mountain biking take place in are often spectacular and the culture at events is relaxed and exciting, with many events having a festival feel.

There’s some cycling events on as part of the Glasgow 2018 European Games. Please note the time trial event on 08-Aug may cause traffic disruption on the roads near the club hall (although the event is due to finish by 3:15pm) so perhaps consider the train or cycling out from the city. At this point, the 7pm Intro Ride will still be on.
