GMBC Christmas Night Out – Siempre Cafe

£19.95 for 3 courses (excluding drinks – you can buy drinks on the night from the bar at Siempre).

There’s a limit to the number of people Siempre can seat (approx. 40) so we’ll keep an eye on numbers and advise if the event has filled up.  The safest thing is to get your name down and make your payment by Friday 02-Dec.

Booking Instructions:

  1. Log into WebCollect
  2. Click on “Book Places” button on the GMBC 2016 Christmas Meal event
  3. Read the booking conditions and, if you’re happy with them, select how many places you want to book and proceed to Checkout
  4. It will take you through to a page to make your menu choices.  If you are bringing a guest then please also fill in their choices and state the name of the guest
  5. Make a bank transfer to the club account for the appropriate amount
  6. Look out your dancing shoes and party frocks ready for 10th Dec !!! 🙂

GMBC Christmas Night Out (10th Dec)

Yes folks, it’s not long until the (in)famous annual knees up that is the GMBC Christmas party.

Who can forget (or remember!) such fantastic moments from previous years as the glorious GMBC dancefloor takeover of 2014, the comedy disguise photobooth, Katie O’s shot bar olympics, the Angus MacSween stair climb challenge and eating and drinking everything Siempre Bicycle Cafe had to offer.  Well, it’s time to get booked in for another evening of fun and games……

Siempre Bicycle Cafe (beside Kelvinhall tube station) are welcoming us back with more lovely food and cold drinks (maybe tea for Tom W!) on Saturday 10th December.  It’s a 3 course meal for £19.95 (not including drinks).  It’s open to GMBC members plus a guest.  Places are limited so book & pay up by Fri 02-Dec to guarantee a space.  We’re managing the booking via WebCollect and you can find all the specific details in this event page:

2015 GMBC Christmas Night Out Sign Up

Here’s how to sign up and pay for the GMBC Christmas Night Out at Siempre Bicycle Cafe (Sat. 12th December, 7 for 7:30pm).

You will also need to make your menu choices for the night on the form.  Here’s Siempre’s Christmas Menu (£14.95 for 3 courses).

Important: if you filled in the paper copy of the sign up form at the AGM then all you need to do is to make the payment using the details contained in the instructions in the sign-up form.  There is no need to fill in the form.

DEADLINE FOR SIGNING UP AND PAYING YOUR MONEY IS NEXT SATURDAY, 5TH DECEMBER.

Sign up for the Christmas meal has closed.

GMBC Christmas Shindig 2014

Save the date!  We’re planning the GMBC Christmas Night Out at Siempre Bicycle Cafe in Kelvinhall for Saturday 13th December.  The plan is to have a buffet meal and drinks at Siempre before either heading home or staying out to party a bit more.  The cost is £15 per person.  The night out is open to partners but we’re limited to 70 people.

GMBC Christmas Night Out: Reserve Your Space Now!

Hooray!!  The GMBC Christmas Night Out is now open for you to reserve your space!  It’ll be a buffet menu and one or two drinks.  Here are the details……..

  • Cost:  £15 per person – includes the top-notch Siempre buffet, including a “hot pot” dish and a free drink on arrival
  • Click here for the GMBC Christmas Night Out Menu
  • Place:  Siempre Bicycle Cafe, Partick (beside Kelvinhall tube).   It’s a great independent bicycle cafe in the Westend.
  • Time:  From 7:30pm onwards.  Last orders at 11:30pm and they close at midnight.  For those who have the stamina for it there are options to go out  afterwards.

How to book:

GMBC Christmas Shindig

We’re working with Siempre Bicycle Cafe to get a buffet menu (approx £15 per head, although this is still to be confirmed!).  Their food is pretty darned good and they have a great selection of beers, cider and wine.

Once the details are finalised I’ll publish the menu, costs, payment method, meet up time and open up a sign up list.

The night out will be open to club members and partners but we have a limit of 70 people.  Exact details (like the menu & the cost) are still TBC but the rough plan looks a bit like this:

  • 7pm(ish) – meet at Siempre Bicycle Cafe, Kelvinhall
  • Eat, drink and make merry
  • 11pm(ish) – continue the merriment elsewhere – Westend, city centre?
