Tuesday Ride

15 out (once I’d caught the group), lovely evening, trails still surprisingly dry, a lot of new(er) faces out.  Well worth making the effort to get out while the weather lasts.  Chris found a total of three latex gloves, make of that what you will.

  1. Was running late last night so didn’t get to the club car park until about ten past seven. Having obviously missed the ride that had left ridiculously on time I set off by myself in the hope that I would catch up. How I managed to miss 15 riders is beyond me.
Anyway, went out along the Westie up the Rocky Rooty, Hole in the Wall, Voodoo, Top Moor, Gowk Stane, Flux and then back along the Westie and Riverside.
As you say, the trails were surprisingly dry and the weather certainly helped to make this a great wee ride. I was back in Milngavie about half past nine and you guys were clearly not back. Where did you guys go?

    • I had to nip back home, and got there at 7:15. I used the wonders of mobile wireless communications to track the mob, went straight up to hole in the wall on the road, and caught up on Voodoo.

  2. Stuart.
Must have just missed us. We did Westie, hole in the wall, claggy Johns, all of Voodoo, snakey (up), accross the moor at the quarry to the visitor centre, played about the trails in the woods, Jaqies root, top section of Narnia, out at ups and downs, over to snakey via the castle, back to Milngavie via the zig-zag decent at Esporta. I thought we got back about 9,30.
Hope that answers your question. I’m sure you will be able to follow it?
Also met up with Ross. Did you see him?
    John
