Yip, a great response – from everyone! We’ve got a similar number volunteered. But we can always use more names!! Also, we’ve had people come forward with the offer of tools and cost price materials fom Jewson. As approved at the club AGM, GMBC may have some club funds to put into it – this is over and above the money we already donated to Mugdock Park following the cross race in October (NB: the Rangers have our letter donating the money up on their wall in their office!).
From speaking to them I can safely say that they are really happy that we’ve initiated this – no other group have specifically approached the Park to offer trail maintenance before. It’s a real chance to make a difference and I’d hope that everyone would take the opportunity to put a little back into a facility and a sport that we get so much out of.
