I have upgraded our facebook page, as its been yelling at me to do this or loose it and as Iain righlty said, it would be good to keep this active and up to date.
I know there is a way for wordpress to automatically upload content to facebook, but after searching the wordpress site, I am now stuck. It tells me to login to WP and open “plugins”then install the link thingy may boaby- but cannae find this.
Does anyone else done this? Can do this?
This’ll mean that our content on FB is kept current without us having to add to multiple pages, and we may also generate content the other way too. Not sure how though.
Waht with all the crap weather, I thought I’d try some techncal computer stuff, but its failed me at the first hurdle, or should i say the first hill-climb. No change there i hear you cry!

Sam, ahhh, I see your problem. You didn’t enable the Internet-web-hypertext-doodah while configuring the app-nodule to accept the user setup dashboard wotsit. 🙂
Seriously though, it might need the site to be upgraded from the free version to allow us to use plugin apps, hence not finding the option to allow it. Will defer to Ryszard’s expert knowledge of thingmy boabies and wotsadoodles though.
Or it might need to be done using the WP admin login rather than just a basic user account. I have said access but would need to investigate but you know me, don’t use Mybook or Twitface so might not be best placed to do this.
Graham is correct that the free WP does not allow the use of plugins, perhaps the biggest argument for self-hosting as that will (hopefully) allow is to do all of the funky stuff that we have been adding to the wish list. We’re currently using WordPress.com, suspect that you’ve been looking at WordPress.org. Yes, it is confusing :~)
However, it does look as though you should be able to set-up FB to import posts from the WP RSS feed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rxdBRd-Udw, http://www.allfacebook.com/wordpress-facebook-plugins-2010-02 section “Import WP Blog Posts in FB”). Should being the important word there.
