25th Anniversary Club Tops – Immediate Action Required From You!

Hello all,

My apologies for this being text heavy. The good news is we’ve just about finalised the top design….a few wee tweaks being done by Stephen Malaney and we’re ready to proceed with the order.

We’ve decided on Endura tops, keeping it Scottish and they are superior in quality compared to what we’ve received in the past. I’ve just received a sizing kit from them, made up of 10 tops with 3 types – Road, MTB & Downhill and they range in sizes, which should suit the range of our members.

They have been left in a box in the club hall in our cubby hole under the benches and within this, they are separated into individual labelled poly bags. Please feel free to try them on to get you’re size right, but please make sure they go back into the bags they came from. There is the option of long & short sleeve.  Within the mix of tops, there are also different zip options available (full length, 3/4, standard and invisible).  There is also the option of purchasing bibshorts, jackets, softshells and other bits & bobs, there’s paperwork & a brochure within the box detailing more info on this. We have access to the club hall on Tuesday & Wednesday nights.

Please be aware that Stephen has only created a design for the tops, we’d be leaving it to Endura to tweak this to fit shorts, buffs, caps leggings & arm warmers.

My apologies, but I am going to be a little vague on costs at the moment due to a few factors. The average top fee is £45, but depending on order size, this can be reduced. Further to this, once we know the overall quantity, the committee will discuss the subsidy benefit to paid club members and we’ll publish costs for each top…..we can guarantee that you won’t be paying the full price.

Delivery time – 11 week turnaround, I’ve reserved a slot for 60 tops starting yesterday, and I’ve been informed we’ll have the tops for week commencing 4th June.

As it’s our 25th Anniversary top, they’ll be no sponsor logos appearing on these über rare limited edition one of pieces. So, please get your butt to the club hall and try out the sizing kit. It also gives you an idea of the quality and in my opinion, they’re crackin’ quality.  I do need to return all 10 of these tops to Endura within the next 3 weeks with the order. Graham will also bring them on the Ballater trip, for folk to try out.

So, in the mean time, please make a note of what you like and shortly I will supply an email address so that you can send us your selections. We will shortly publish the final design once Stephen has finished the tweaks.

Best regards

Barry & the committee
