    I’m tempted, it sounds right miserable.

    Are you planning on doing solo or pairs? I guess the team event isn’t much less miserable as you just freeze to death between laps.

    Utterly grim. But I might not get another chance, so I’m going to give it a go. I was thinking solo for exactly that reason – so as not to have enforced periods of standing about getting freezing cold. At least you get a choice as to when you ride and take breaks too.

    I think some of the Walkers lads are looking at getting a camper for the weekend.

    If you, klaus and I all manage to get solo entries, the three of us can share a camper Robin. I’m under no illusions about solo, it’ll be miserable, but I agree with Robin, no one relying on you either. As well as a camper, I think I’ll try and get a hold of a generator too, to keep the heating going all night.

    Bring on the grimness….

    I’d be up for a quad. Done the quads, pairs and solo before, never doing solo again.

      Got a solo entry – Just realised it’s only a bit over two months away. Better get the drill out to start making those ice tyres.

    I’m signed up for solo also. You guys up for some proper miserable long dark rides over Christmas and New Year?

    Better start buying up the available supply of cheap batteries!

    batteries? beg, steal and borrow Tom. All my riding buddies that ain’t going will be kind enough to donate their lights for the weekend I’m sure!.
