It’s been a long week and I fancy a ride out on Sunday morning. Mugdock is likely to be pretty boggy and so fancy somewhere that might be dryish. Anyone fancy a trip to Cathkin or Carron Valley. Aim for a 10am start, but flexible.

Hi Stuart, I’d be interested in coming out Sunday. I’ve acually managed to swap with a friend and my swim class is not until 1pm now so could do a couple of hours biking. Now, I’m purely a beginner though so most definitely won’t be able to match your speed and skill. I can only promise that my chain it’s now fixed, I’ve got a spare master link to bring along with me and there will be no tears and general melt down from my side on the trails (anyway, this suter of thing only happens to me on average once a year so I think I’ve exhausted my limit :-)If you are ok about riding with a newbe I could do either Cathkin or Carron Valley. The latter one seems to h a better forecast (sunny)
Honestly typing on a mobile is a flipping nightmare! Back to the point though, I’m happy with either and will leave it to you to decide. I would have to be back at Scotstoun pool 12:45 the latest though.

Now, I think I got confused here.I talked to Stuart on Tuesday and he mentioned he would be up for going biking on Sunday 10 Nov. This post however is dated Nov 1st. Sorry, the date totally escaped my attention … 🙁
