Club Velodrome Taster session, next Sun 10th @4pm – roll call update, and more people please…
The facts and figs first – it’s a 1 hr session, but plan to be there by 345pm. Bikes, helmets and shoes are included in the price of £10.70 per head. If you have a road helmet and Look Keo cleats you can wear your own, although it costs the same 🙂
No previous track experience is required. If you enjoy it you can use this session as your first of 4 levels of accreditation for the Velodrome, but only if you have a Glasgow Club card (which is free) Continue reading
SXC races – Forfar 17th March
Is anyone thinking about doing any of the SXC’s this year? I’m planning to go up to the Forfar one in March if anyone wants a lift. Cathkin is mid-May. Lots of fun!
Sunday 3rd March – away ride?
Does anyone fancy an away ride this Sunday? I don’t mind where we go – maybe weather depending could go to Kirroughtree or Auchendrain (has anyone been there recently and know what it’s like with all the tree planting and felling?). I can drive and have space in the car for two others.

I’m riding from StAndrew Church for buzz arouNd the park for 2 hrs.

Kenmore/ Loch Tay area rides and routes
Heading up to Kenmore this weekend and fancy a bit of time out on the MTB – a few hours, not a full day epic. Any suggestions on routes to ride?
Cove Handjob – Medium for Sale
Just seeing if there is any interest in a my Cove Handjob Frame (17.5″). Looking for £185 for it – It is in really good nick I have used heli tape to save the frame – only selling as I’m moving abroad soon and unfortunately won’t be able to take it. Can post photos but probably best to come have a look if your interested – I’m in the westend. The bike is fully built at the moment if you want to try it out.
I also have 2 Panracer 1.8″ Fire Mud Pro’s for sale these tyres are amazing winter tyres and only have been used a couple of times (a few laps of the puffer). Went tubless and no longerchange to winter tyres. £10 each.

New (to most of us) singletrack trails – 10k plus, and a Cafe !

well impressed with the setup – over 10km of natural flowy singletrack, reminded me of Drumlanrig a bit. Lots of work going on to stone up the soft bits. Speaking with the guys who own the estate,, they are keen to encourage riding and would be delighted to show us around. I’ll post up a Sun ride in a few weeks, and arrange with them to meet up. Great wee Cafe too !
