Carron Valley ride this Sunday
hi guys, Myself and a buddy of mine Chris (who’s a mechanic for Dales) are heading to Carron Valley this Sunday. Chris has very kindly offered to teach some basic mechanical and maintenance skills to gain some experience and get your feedback. This is a great opportunity for our new members who haven’t ridden in this area before or might have some questions regarding mechanical tweaks or what to do when things go wrong out on the trails (this happens occaisionally on GMBC rides). Aside from this, Carron Valley has a range of trails which vary in technical level. The maximum number for the tutorial is 4 but other riders are still welcome and the group can be split.
If you’d like to participate in the Mechanical tutorial please reply to rgilmo18@googlemail.com

Hi – My plan is to ride at Carron Valley in the morning and Cathkin Braes in the afternoon, cold drink in the westend afterwards. Join in for any/all of the bits. Details of the times and there’s an offer of a lift all on the events page. Please post up on the events page if you’re up for it. Hopefully see you there!

Carron Valley Take II Wednesday 22 Aug
We didn’t manage to make Carron Valley last week due to the wind / lashing rain (I’ve used all my “man up” already this summer). So before the nights draw in too much how about this Wednesay meet at lower car park at 7pm? There should be enough light for a couple of laps, the weather forecast looks OK at the moment.

Carron Valley Trails – Wednesday 15th August
Anyone fancy a blast round Carron Valley on Wednesday night for a wee change. Probably get a couple of laps in with a wee session on the jumps afterwards.
Meet at the lower carpark ready to ride for 7pm.
