Looks like another dry, cold night so I’ll be out for the 7pm ride. Heading back to the hall sharp though as there’s a meeting to discuss the upcoming MTB orienteering event – which I hope you’ll all be entering!! 🙂

Tuesday 19th Local Ride?
We’ve got a new rider (James) joining us potentially and as I won’t be out because of work I’m just wanting to make sure there’s folks out to meet him. If you’re intending to ride this Tuesday can you post up here? Thanks.
Trail Maintenance Session: 16th March
Hi there,
As mentioned previously, we’re planning the next trail maintenance session this Saturday (16th March). If you are able to help out then please post up here or drop me an email (this will be useful to estimate the number of tools we need to borrow from the park rangers). Here’s the details:
Meet:  Drumclog Car Park (opposite the Mugdock reservoirs)
Time:  Start at 10am, finish by 2:30/3pm.
NB:  It can be a busy car park so you may want to consider turning up a bit earlier or sharing lifts.
Tools:  Bring what you have, eg. spades, forks, pruning saws/loppers, forks, mattocks

OK’s Ride Report
A few weeks back 6 of us headed out from Milngavie on a cold, grey morning for a bit of an adventure into the Old Kilpatricks. Thankfully the dry spell meant the going was fairly easy on our trans-OK’s route. After navigating Windy Hill & Hardgate we followed our noses and some faint trails as the trail undulated over ridges in the direction of Kilmannan & Burncrooks.

As Tom posted earlier, a great day out. Would be even better on a hot, dry day. Anyway, here’s a few more photos…..
Tuesday Night’s Ride: A Report
Cracking show last night! About 17 folks riding, split over 2 rides; one faster, one more chilled. 3 new faces joined us too! Dry trails meant no need for the bike wash and copious amounts of tea and banter (and biscuits!) enjoyed back in the hall afterwards with both groups mingling for a chat. Magic.
If you weren’t able to join us last night then maybe next time??
