Just a quick recap on the rooms I’ve had to re-jig a few folks around so the accommodation stands as below.
This also means that there is three free spaces available in bunkrooms for £15 per night including breakfast and guess what banter is not an additional extra!
Planning on heading out at 4.30/5pm tomorrow for a couple of hours before the AGM.
Leave me a message here or on facebook if your coming along and i’ll wait at the usual car park for you.
Cheers
Jack
Hi All,
POSTING ON BEHALF OF DAWN
Tis that time of year again when I start to ask if anyone is interested in our annual January social trip to the Oak Tree Inn for an overnighter with compulsory beer, bikes n banter (not necessary in that order). Continue reading
The weather doesn’t look too bad so who is up for riding tonight? I have a strange notion for Auchengillan as we’ve not ridden up there in ages and it’ll be no wetter than anywhere else. Actually, even the Whangie low path would be fun. Just make sure you bring a back light!
Cheers
Sanny
At this short notice I don’t expect anyone to turn up, but, nevertheless I intend to tour the Braes and Fereneze hills and confirm a route to Barrhead for my commute to work. Cafe stop to be included, plus some single track around Brandy Burn, and below Glenburn Resevoir. In this wet weather this should be firmer under tyre than, and may be a useful antidote to, Mugdock. Plus you’ll have the added difficulty of dodging the Highland Coos!
Comment if you want to discuss or come along.
Any takers welcome – Nigel
Reuben has suggested a road/mtb ride on Sunday leaving the hall at 9am. Possibly Callander loop, approx. 50 miles @ 15mph. Gerry should be there also but will probably bail early. More details on facebook page.
Don’t know if this has already been posted.
The Tartan Ride, organised by the Bike Station in Glasgow to raise funds for their bike projects for those less fortunate. See http://tartanride.com/the-ride
Friday 30 November a ride from their base in Kelvinhaugh G3, stopping at various drinking establishments and ending at West on Glasgow Green for a Ceilidh and possibly more drinking. Tickets £20 each for a good cause, and some fun in the process.
Some tartan to be worn!
Forecast is to dry up these evening. Anyone heading along at 7.45??
Anyone planning to go out tonight? I missed the fireworks night having been in London so keen to get out!
