Glenn Luss, Cobbler, and now Glentress. Don’t say GMBC doesn’t set you up with some cool-as-the-other-side-of-the-pillow midweek rides.
A few people on the intro rides, and on the Facebook, have asked about trail centre rides – so here you go. Plus, a Thursday evening makes a midweek evening into a sort of weekend day like some sort of magic.
Afterwards we can go and eat chips.

Hey,
I’m heading over to Glentress tonight for a play after work if anyone is keen.
Cheers

Just posting this up for a friend of mine, As he’s bought a van and is looking to sell his Skoda. Good car, If someone is looking for a cheap bike lugger, this is a good option. Based in Prestwick.

If anyone fancies this the entries are open until the 8th June (it’s not a first come first served, I think you have to be deemed worthy by the organisers).
Essentially it’s a big long cyclocross race over some hills in Yorkshire. I think the guy that’s won it the last few years is a fell runner first and foremost if that gives an idea what to expect.
Anyway, it should be fun. I can feel the pinch flats already.
Hi everyone,
Having been off my mountain bike for nearly two months, I am planning to do a relatively long but non-technical mountain bike ride this Sunday. Ruairidh did this ride with me earlier in the year and I think it was quite a good day out.
Ideally we would meet in Bridge of Weir and make our way up to Muirshiel Country Park via Kilmacolm or take the scenic route (Bog) through Locher Wood.
Leave a comment or send me a text if you fancy coming along.

Hey,
Myself and Gavin are heading North this weekend…
Friday evening ride at the Lecht,
Saturday at Glenlivet (Rock & Road Bike Festival – http://www.rockandroad.co.uk)
Sunday at Laggan.
There’s a lot on this weekend but if anyone else is keen, for one day or the full weekend, the more the merrier.
Good luck to the guys at Selkirk!
Cheers,
Eilidh
During a recent trip to Aviemore I came to the conclusion that my daughter’s bike is too small. (Only seems like yesterday that I bought it.)
While I might go down the route of a totally new bike, I have a hardtail in the garage which has much better transmission, wheels and fork than I am likely to get within our budget. The possibility of transferring the serviceable kit from the hardtail to a new small frame to make a lightish bike appeals.
So, has anybody any thoughts on a frame that would be suitable. Probably looking at a 15” / xs 26” wheel frame. Budget up to around £150 – £200.
Had a quick look on On-One but not sure my wife would be keen on my daughter riding around on an In Bred 😯 , while the Scandal seems to have been discontinued.
Of course if our excellent sponsor Dales had anything suitable then that would be great 😉
