Hi. I’ll be up at the club from just after 9pm if you’re still to collect your top. People I still have tops for are: Al Yuille, Andy & Jen Barker, Bill McKee, David Unsworth, Greg Bowie, Jacqui & Simon Simpson, Iain Ferguson, Mark Forrest and Stuart Harrow. (Paivi & Dave: I’ll bring yours to the weekend away in August).
I’ll be up at the hall with the club clothing from 9:15pm onwards on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
They’re here! Looking pretty good too.
This means the collections planned for next Tue & Wed will go ahead in the club hall after the ride (9/9:30pm-ish).
Just on case you are in the market for a new GPS doodah, Garmin are doing a £30 cashback. On top of this Halfords were doing some discounts on Garmin too. I got an Edge 200, once I’ve claimed the cashback I’ll have saved £55 off RRP.
With the summer we’ve been having so far it was a bit of wishful thinking that this ride would go ahead and that feeling continued as Robin and I drove up Loch Lomondside through a driech, miserable morning to meet up with Chris, Tom and Alison. It had the potential to be a really amazing day out in the hills or a total washout.
Hi All – good news – the new tops are nearly finished production at Endura. The bad news – it’s time to cough up your cash. But wait, more good news – the price of a top (for paid up club members) has come down from an estimated £45 to an average of £24 after discounts and club member subsidy! Hooray!
So here are the details for payment and collection of the 25th anniversary club tops….. Continue reading
Hi Folks,
We’ve got the Bike Week rides planned for next week and given recent advertising there’s the chance that we’ll have a few more folks out than normal so I’m looking for a show of hands from “club regulars” who will be out for the 7pm rides next Tue/Wed. Why? Well, it’s just in case we need to split the rides to suit the different abilities that come along that night. To do that it would help to have 2 club regulars on each split ride so people don’t get lost.
Here’s how it’s been advertised via Bike Week. Nothing too different from what we normally do to be honest. I’m aiming to be out for both 7pm rides next week and from a Committee meeting earlier tonight I think there’s Sam, Ryszard, Robin, Stuart and Barry for some/all of it too. Anyway, post up if you’ll be there!
