Dene, thanks for your post suggesting a club ride at Glentress! Great idea! Really sorry you couldn’t make it along because of your snowboarding injury. But Dene, if you’re reading this, it was a terrible day out; nobody enjoyed it, the trails were grim, the bikes were terrible, the weather was just awful. So. It’s a new year (happy new year by the way!), a new season of biking is looming and my thoughts are turning to what I want to achieve in 2012. Hi Folks – as per the calendar it’s the annual mulled wine and mince pie ride on Wednesday. It’ll be a shortish ride followed by some friendly chat and munchies. No obligation to ride, you could just come along for the food/drink!!
So as we don’t end up with a mince pie mountain and mulled wine loch of leftovers can you post up or email if you’re intending to come along. Cheers.

Luke has done a top job organising this weekend’s club trip and with about 18 people going it looks like it’ll be another great weekend of riding and socialising. If you’re not staying over but still want to join for the riding on either day then make yourself known. We’ll be riding in Ae at 10am on Saturday, followed by a spin round Mabie. Sunday still a bit TBC but Dalbeattie and/or Kirroughtree are being considered I think – start time not certain but we’ll be leaving from the Marthrown of Mabie bunkhouse.
So if you’re interested then post up and we’ll arrange to meet you.
