Happy New Year and calling Barrie Brown!

Now we are in 2015 I just wanted to make sure everyone who said they were interested in going along still are. I got a double room cancellation from Oak Tree so both Davie H and Lorna shall be joining us. Barrie Brown you can take Scotty place in the bunkroom as he wont be able to make it, can you let me know asap if you will be joining us, I believe Tim is trying to come along too so if there is a cancellation then i’ll try find a bed for him too. If there is anyone else interested but missed out let me know incase there is any additional cancellations.

Hi all. So as I haven’t had any sort of flat warming at all since I moved here back in July, you’re all invited to a wee get together on Sunday 28th Dec. It started off as 5 or so people from work coming round, but it’ll be good to have some biking minds there too 😀 There isn’t a plan at all to the night, just turn up at some point, have some bevvies (BYO), I might do nibbles and stuff. Depending how many people turn up (it’s not the biggest flat in the world, and my 5 bikes take up most of the space!) we could always wander down to a pub in Shawlands.

Party hats are optional, Christmas jumpers distinctly not allowed.

Hi.  With the AGM on on Wednesday there’s no rides planned that night so I’ll be out on Tuesday instead…. on the singlespeed.  Anyone else out that night?

Hi.  As per the title of the post, we’re planning the GMBC Christmas night out for 13th December.  There’s a few things to confirm but thought you should get the date in your calendars.

Take it easy hacking down through the quarry from Hole In The Wall.  There’s a tree down after the berm, and I wouldn’t recommend finding out while zipping around at warp factor 9 as I did tonight.  There’s another down at the end of Mangina; you have to crawl under it, but it seems stable and there’s room to drag a bike through.

Just Angus and me out on a lovely clear (and cold) night, trails still riding surprisingly well considering the deluge.
