Thinking of a wee ride around the Glennifer Braes in Paisley tomorrow (26th Feb), plan to leave Crookston (south side) about 10am and be at the Glenburn entrance to the park in Paisley about 10.45am. Hopefully a few ‘locals’ riding too 🙂
I know it’s a bit on the wet side, but it’s meant to dry up a bit later. Granted it won’t exactly be dry and dusty but better than sitting at home.
Anyone fancy a wee change from the norm and wanting to win some cash vouchers? EDIT – Entry is now free!!
Good weather? Check!
Dry trails? Check!
Chocolate biscuits? Errr, check?
So who’s up for a spin tonight? As the good weather is set to hold, perhaps a wee Whangie or Auchengillan raid might be in order?
Cheers
Sanny
I am keen to get some local hill climbs in this Sunday morning. My plan is to start at 10:00 prompt at Clachan of Campsie and do some repetitive hill climbs using Clachan as a base. Continue reading
I have registered for 6 people so far and decided to collect money at this point. See email for bank details and other options for payment.
Also need details for each rider, again please see email.
we got a trip going out to Yorkshire on 17th and it seems that there are some spare beds if anyone’s interested in joining us.
staying in http://www.3peaksbunkroom.co.uk/Â which is conveniently situated just behind a pub!
there will be a mix bag of people, some will do long walks, some shorter and some might even just walk from one pub to another. There will also be a group of people pedalling around lovely Yorkshire country side ( routes are being planned and will include tea and cake stop). We normally cook communal meal on Sat eve but you would need to bring breakfast stuff, snacks and beer/wine. Plus your sleeping bag.
Let me know if you are interested…
cannot offer a lift as driving from home (Cheshire).

Hi all,
After a brief discussion with some of you at Glentress, we discussed this Sunday’s ride. Anyone fancy Aberfoyle?
Sam is always eager to get us over there, as she gets a long lie in and knows the trails well. (that’s if she’s free this w/end?) Continue reading
Barry has mentioned this one a few times so I have volunteered to get some names together.
Anyone definitely up for it?
Intention is to do the 100K but start from Milngavie then cycle to and from the event, therefore around 100 miles total.
If I can get 6 names together I will register these and get the extra discount.
