Congratulations to everyone who took part in 10 Under a few weeks ago. Here’s a few photos as a reminder – there’s a lot of smiling – were you trying hard enough?? 😉
Hi Folks,
Planning to do a play ride up at Comrie Croft day after the BBQ. Rik Allsop has spent the winter up there extending their trails, and rumour is they are meant to be great fun, so about time to check them out. As it’s the barby the night before planning a later start time of around 11am.

Might consider extending the ride, by starting at the Distillery and riding up to Glen Turret before heading over on some single track into Comrie. TBC.
Anyone fancy it?

In case anyone is interested:
I’ve put the following event into the calendar: http://www.gmbc.org.uk/event/cairngorm-loop-weekend-provisional/
As some of you know, impending fatherhood means I have a lot of long rides to get out of my system before my riding is reduced to an hour or two early morning blast, commuting, CX racing and stolen minutes on the turbo (joy). So far this has mainly consisted of riding around in small circles with number board attached and endlessly long road rides.
So I thought it might be time for something different and something big. Might be the last chance I get for some time. So hows about this:
300km over two days, around the Cairngorms. B&B/bunkhouse at Aviemore or Braemar. Route based on this event: http://www.cairngormsloop.net/ Here’s a tread on Singletrack with some nice pictures: http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/a-cairngorm-loop
C’mon, you know you want to. It will be epic.
I thought I’d put up a wee summary of some of the club events coming up over the next month or 2 so you can plan around your holidays. Of course we’ll have a wonderful, hot dry summer to get in lots of midge-free riding and socialising (ever the optimist!) Here’s a few ideas to whet your appetite……. Continue reading
Hi,
Planning a ride on Saturday:

It’s a brilliant place to ride, although quite challenging. Hope to see a few folk out.

Hi,
The club BBQ is coming up on the 12th July (calender link). This is always a great event and is usually preceded by a bike ride.
If you could post up on the calender entry if you’re coming that would be greatly appreciated to help with planning.
Cheers

Hi,
As much as I’d love to do Tom’s mini adventure tomorrow, its just too far for me to get home afterwards (probably an hour and a half driving up and over the Loch Lomond) so is anyone still thinking of going local? If not, I’ll go local at home…
Cheers,
Sam
Expecting some dry, sunny but maybe cool weather I slapped on the suncream for a day of biking in the Perthshire hills with Dawn, Sam and Gav. As we approached Pitlochry the clouds drew in, the hills disappeared and the rain started – what on earth!?! Here’s what happened next…… Continue reading
