Shimano SLX are generally flavour of the month but what ones, M666 or push the boat out with a set of M988s?
Any takers for Magura or Hope?

Hi,
Anyone out there with a 26” MTB rear wheel for sale, disc compatible?
Cheers,
Simon
A couple of friends are looking for second hand mtb bikes for around £200. As they spend most of their time running they are reluctant to spend much more than £200 in case they don’t enjoy biking or pick up too many injuries. If anyone has a bike kicking around and looking to sell then please get in touch. The sizes would be ~16/17″, preferably hardtail. There might an Al Trek Road Bike that might be used as (part) exchange. Not sure of exact details. Please give me a shout if interested.
Anybody have any route advice for a party of folks looking to ride off-road from the Forth estuary (Forth or Kincardine bridge) to Milngavie?
Hi,
heading over to Arran for a couple of days next week, and wondered if anyone knows if there is an off-road route from Brodick to Lochranza? Thinking you could head towards Goat Fell, then over towards Glen Sannox…. anyone got an ideas?
Sam
Just loving riding the hardtail after years of full suss, but it’s just too small for me………..
Option 1. Looking for larger frame size on a tight budget so anyone out there with a 20 to 21 inch frame for sale or possibly swap with my Kona Blast 19″ (V brake – not disc. Sounds big but it’s really 16″ to the top tube with 3″ continuing to the seat). Preferably disc compatible please.
Option 2. Go up to a 29 hardtail ! Any advise or second hand stuff out there?
Cheers all
Simon
Updated post- route is round the katrine
Leaving milngavie , meet Bullands car park 9am leaving 9.15 sharp
My number is 07854 162 998
Please post if coming . So we know if we are riding straight through dry men or meeting up.
If meeting up other than at milngavie text me
Gerry, you and Alison confirmed.
I am thinking of riding “the bunter” so 14-15mph seems a good pace to aim for. Back milngavie 3.30 latest.
Does anyone have a Headset Press I could borrow in a weeks time or will I have to go into Alpine? Hopefully will have a “proper” singlespeed frame by then.
Cheers
Jack
