I’ll be heading out for a ride on Tuesday night (7pm), mulling over a ride to Lennox forest. Post up if you’re interested.

Saturday social
Blue sky and sunshine forecast for Saturday, so 10am at the club for those coming for breakfast at the Carbeth Inn at 11am. I phoned the Inn and bacon rolls, tea, coffee, Guinness will be on the menu from 11am. At a rough guess I would think lunch will prob be at the Swan Inn, Lennoxtown about 1.30 – 2pm for those joining later. 🙂
Away Ride- Sunday 1st June – Ochils
Hi Folks,
To help with blowing the cobwebs away after the social ride, Dawn and I are planning to do an away ride this Sunday. Plan is to do Glen Devon, riding from Tillicoultry to Dollar first.
Here is the ride report from the last outing (correct one this time!)

Tuesday 27th Evening Ride
Who’s riding tonight? Looking like a mild and dry evening! Any of last weeks intro riders up for it?
Saturday Social Ride
Short update for Sat 31st. I know the weather forecasts change quickly, but at the moment, this Saturday is showing blue sky, 2mph wind and 20*C, so look out your shades and tan cream and come along for a great day of cycling, chat, food and drink. Everyone is welcome, members, non members, newly joined and old heads. 10am depart from the clubhouse. See the original post for more details and I’ll post up again on Thursday night after a final weather check.

Tour De France – 5th/6th July
Anyone thinking of making a weekend of it down in Yorkshire to see the first couple of days of this year’s Tour De France?
Menteiths / Aberfoyle – Sunday 18th May 10:00
It’s on the club calender but I thought I’d bump it up a bit.
As I recall, the riding isn’t particularly technical so would be suitable for new members or those who are GMBC curious. So come along if you fancy an accessible GMBC away ride. As always the route will take account of the abilities of those who turn up and the pace will be that of the slowest rider.
Post up on the calendar entry if you’re coming along.
SXC round 3 – this weekend
Anyone else entered this?
Cheers,
