Much as I would love to go on the away ride time won’t permit for me tomorrow. Planning to be over for a 9am sharp start on the local trails for a few hrs if anyone is up for it.

Easy(ish) rides for younguns

Right folks,

I have been asked to put together a day out mountain biking for some of the kids I teach. Nothing too techy and hopefully reasonably close to home (Paisley).
Most likely to take place week beginning Monday 18th June.
I was thinking about Glentress but that’ll be too much of a trek for the poor weans.

If there are any suggestions, please let’s hear them.

Sorry about short notice, but the weather looks settled and ideal for a bothy trip. All you need is a sleeping bag, food and utensils and usual bike stuff. I will bring a stove etc. Remember travel light as you will be carrying all your stuff both days. Who’s in?

Myself and Alison are planning to ride this on Sunday (27th May), 09:30AM prompt start at the car park nearest Achleum. The plan is to take in Mullach Clach a Bhlair and Sgor Gaoith (after Sanny marked-up my map a couple of years ago). My folks will be staying in the area for most of that weekend (and the following weekend) and we will be staying with them. If anyone fancies the Sunday ride then please let me know asap.
